Post and rail fence replacement in Little Fransham

On this project the customer asked us to replace some post and rail fencing at their property that had seen better days.

We started this project by removing the old metal stock fencing before replacing the wooden posts and rails. We used a digger to level the ground to make installing the new fence easier.

For this project we used a tracked post knocker to knock the posts approximately 2ft into the ground. We decided to use this method due to good ground conditions and the fence only being used for light use.

Once all the posts were knocked in, we attached galvanised stock wire to one side to keep the customers dog in and then attached two rails which were staggered between posts.

This type of fencing is ideal for around equestrian properties and horse menages. It’s also an ideal choice for defining boundaries around fields, footpaths, and gardens. Due to its easy installation there is very little maintenance to be carried out once installed.

Whether you’re enclosing a pasture, framing a driveway, or adding rustic appeal to your home, Post and Rail Fencing delivers lasting performance with timeless appeal.
